TV’s are becoming more and more like computers these days with all the web apps that come standard. What is top of the line this year is obsolete next year. I’m not a videophile, but I appreciate a good image and never watch SD when HD is available on my DISH HD satellite system. I like Blu-Rays too and make sure I use them if possible. All that being said, the image on this unit is absolutely stunning, especially when I’m watching hast paced movies on HBO or sports on ESPN. I like the feel of "Looking through a window" this TV gives me. The TV has Netflix streaming but I don’t need it because I use Blockbuster@Home from DISH for streaming movies because I find it to be a better value for streaming movies. Everything worked out effortlessly and I am very pleased with how easy everything was to set up. I’m glad a co-worker from DISH pointed this TV out to me because I’m Very happy, indeed!
